November 17 day 1

Today everybody from different school came together to this camp called YoReCa...at first we mix only with our schoolmates but not others. We were then split into 4 diferent groups. Ours was called the yellow team at first. We got to know each other through the icebreakers just only the names. After the icebreakers, things just get better every minute as we played this game called war chant. Through this activity we learn to cooperate and understand the needs of a resilience person. For example we need to cooperate with the leader and support the leaders opinion or instruction. Around in the afternoon, we went to the home team academy and was brief of what the home team academy was all about. It was built to strengthen the bonding between the officers and understand each other situation unlike the previous encounters they faced for example, went there is an acccident the police and the ambulance came to the site and did thier things. Now they come together to learn each others job and hence can cooperate with each other. We then explored the facilities in the home team academy and found out that they are different people doing different jobs and they did thier best in involving the communtiy to work together to ensure th safety and security in Singapore. After all the trip, we headed back to the camp and view a video about the past riots occur in Singapore. Through that we came up with a skit and soloutions to each skits and now we are doing a blog. Through this activity we learn alot of things in just 1 day. We hope to see more things which are more interesting and enjoyable.
