Another day in the YoReCa...everything meets what is expected from all of us. We woke up in the morning and did our morning exercise and the flag raising in the honour of our country. Next was a game or challenge that is called 'key punch'..the objective of the challenge was to diffuse fake bombs made of paper plates. All the plates are numbered from 1 to 50 but written in different languages, in number form or in equation method. All the groups were doing their best but failed in the 1st few attempts. However, after discussing with the other group, we managed to accomplish the challenge. We then went to the Singapore Civil Defence Force located near Queensway. Through the talks, we learnt the threats that are threatening Singapore and ways to overcome these situations. We even learnt how to protect ourself from danger that will happen to us when the alarm or siren is activated. After the trip, we went back to NACLI and countinued our next challenge which is 'confident skip'. This activity allows us to build up our confidence. The 1st attempt which only 1 person running through the moving rope at a time. It was tough as due to their recent or past injuries, it had hindered their courage but...after the 2nd and other other attempts, we were confident enough to do it. Courage and encouragment made us carry on regardless the challenge was. At a certain time, Ms Choy asked us whether we would want to continue the programme. We repplied her that we want to do it. She let us and we tried our best in finishing it. At last we completed it and cheered. She told us that we were determined to continue and that is why we made it all the way till the end. Mr Dubey told us upon his experience that the easiest examination is his PHD. Relating to the challenge and what Mr Dubey told us, we found that it is the same and it can be related to anything in our life. Through this experience, we, as student leader, can help build up other people's confidence, becoming a good leader in leading the others to become a better youth. They also mentioned that we are the next generation in leading Singapore. Furthermore we've learnt that we as Singaporeans can make Singapore a better living place regardless of where we come from. We can say that this camp is a very great camp which may be boring at times but will be a memoriable learning camp and this can be felt by doing reflections or talks.
